When I have original paintings for sale, I will post them here.
Oil on canvas, 10" x 8"
This new piece was originally going to be a bumblebee, but the skeletal structure of a wasp seemed more elegant, especially in profile. I also wanted there to be a contrast between the aggressive nature of a wasp and the calming effect of lavender. It creates somewhat of a balance of emotion in this spring nature scene.
Oil on canvas, 8" x 8"
This new piece is the essence of good luck and prosperity. Its name was derived in the Middle Ages attributed to the Virgin Mary (Our Lady) when the carnivorous lady bugs would miraculously save crops by devouring the harmful pests.
Oil on wooden panel 8" x 6"
This new piece of an oriole is bright and cheerful just like its song. The word oriole literally means the golden one, and I wanted it to look like it had been dipped in gold.
Watercolor, 14" x 10" on hot-pressed paper
This piece expresses the mere definition of having faith, in whatever endeavor, which I translate into resilience. If there's resilience and perseverance, there is light in the midst of a dark and crowded forest. By leaning towards the light, we make our way into full bloom.
Watercolor, 5.9" x 11.8" on rough cold-pressed paper
Introducing, "Madam Secretary", an original watercolor portrait painting of an African bird of prey called the Secretary Bird (named for its long quill-like feathers resembling a quill pen). It features a regal pose with intricate details around the eyes and beak. Perfect for nature lovers and bird enthusiasts.

Watercolor, 5.9" x 11.8" on rough cold-pressed paper
This piece conveys the essence of staying true; keeping to the path, so we arrive safely home. Even though the path may have challenges and may seem like a long one, one must persevere with constant determination to complete the journey, no matter the difficulty.

Watercolor, 4" x 10" on hot-pressed paper
This is one of my Tuscan landscape pieces of a field of poppies at sunset, which seems to accentuate the warmth of the colors.
